The Foot and Ankle Service provide information, diagnosis, and both surgical and non-surgical treatment for individuals with a variety of foot and ankle problems, including athletic injuries, fractures, arthritis, and deformities.
Specialized surgical services include:
- Ankle arthroscopy
- Ligament reconstruction
- Foot and ankle reconstruction including forefoot (bunion) surgery, midfoot, hindfoot, and ankle problems
- Fracture care
Specialized non-surgical services include:
- Foot care for people with diabetes
- Orthotics prescriptions
- Care for nails, corns, and callouses

4. Hand and Wrist
The team members of the Hand and Microsurgery Service evaluate and manage problems involving pain or injury in the arm, forearm, wrist, and hand. Patients frequently come to us for the management of:
- Fractures and dislocations
- Sprains, strains, and muscle or ligament tears
- Injuries to tendons, nerves, or vessels
- Numbness or weakness in the hand or arm (including carpal tunnel syndrome)
- Arthritis
- Contractures
- Swelling or inflammation
